Volunteer your time to help us to perform the work that needs to be done in order for the wetlands to continue thriving!

Join us for a volunteer work party to help the wetlands in Mission Bay!

Nature lovers, bird enthusiasts, and everyone interested in learning more about the habitat existing in the heart of our city are welcome! Learn about the Ridgway's Rails at Kendall-Frost Marsh. Take in the extraordinary sights found only in protected habitats like this one. Activities vary for each event and include trash pick up, invasive plant removal, and more.

Registration is not required, just show up prepared with close-toed shoes, sun protection, and water. Tools and gloves will be available to use. And of course, you're always welcome to bird during this time.

Interested in becoming a docent for this program? Email Cassandra our Volunteer Coordinator at gonzalez@sandiegoaudubon.org to find out how to get involved.

This is a partnership project between UC San Diego Natural Reserve System and the San Diego Audubon Society.
